Ed Lester Farms is located on Highway US 84 just west of the town of Coushatta. We are about 45 miles south of Shreveport and about 30 miles north of Natchitoches. Use Highways 1,71 or 371 to travel to Coushatta. We’re easy to find!

From Shreveport:

Take Highway La 1 (Youree Drive) South. At the intersection of La 1 and US 84 (Armistead) TURN LEFT, go 2 miles, farm is on your right. This route is approximately 31 miles from the end of the LA 1 four-lane section.

The drive from Shreveport is less than an hour: 40.8 Miles

1. Head south on LA-1/Youree Dr toward Fontaine St; Continue to follow LA-1
2. Turn left at US-371/US-84 (1.4 mi)
3. Turn left at PR-601 (95 ft)

If traveling via Interstate 49:

Take I-49 South. Exit at the Grand Bayou - Mansfield US 84 (Exit 172). TURN LEFT. Proceed east to LA 1. TURN RIGHT. Proceed south to Armistead and follow US 84 East Turning to the Left. Go 2 miles, farm is on your right. This route is approximately 43 miles from the intersection of I-49 and Bert Kouns.

From Bossier City:

Take US 71 South to Coushatta. Follow US 71 into town. At the intersection (Next to Burger King), hold to the RIGHT and continue through town, crossing the railroad tracks, and coming to a 4-way Stop. Turn RIGHT, go over the Red River Bridge and your are there. The farm is on your Left.

From Natchitoches:

Take LA 1 North to the intersection of LA 1 and US 84 (Armistead). Turn RIGHT, and proceed for 2 miles. Ed Lester Farms is on your right. This route is approximately 26 miles.
